Pune-headquartered Cybage Software has predicted an annual growth of 20 per cent and the company is looking to hire 1,000 new employees this year.
The bulk of hiring is expected from city based institutes such as VIT, MIT, PICT and Dr. DY Patil college of engineering said the COO and Executive Director, Cybage Software, Deepak Nathani. He said attrition level is in tune with industry standards but both growth and hiring is more aggressive. Nathani said the future of US economy will be an important deciding factor for Cybage's growth.
"Economy in US seems to be back on track. We are hopeful to maintain last years' growth trajectory," said Nathani.
While speaking on Friday's freefall of the rupee which hit an 11-month low and its worst monthly fall since May 2013, Nathani said the weakening of the rupee would benefit mid-sized IT' companies such as Cybage media.
