The state of affairs has led people to live in constant doubt, anxiety, fear, and uncertainty – As an organization, it is our responsibility to address and handle such concerns. In order to reduce instances of doubt, the HR department at Cybage kept employees up-to-date with regular and frequent org-level communication. Additionally, we are adhering to the health and safety guidelines issued by the World Health Organization, the Government of India, and NASSCOM.
Considering our employees are our biggest assets, their health and wellbeing is our top priority. We have continued to offer counselling sessions and remote consultation for health-related issues. For around 20% of our employees coming into our offices, we have ensured their safety from the moment they enter the office premises. Thermal check-ups are conducted every morning and all social distancing efforts have been put in place. From sanitizing each vehicle entering the campus to sanitizing entire office premises, sterility is being followed ardently. All common areas susceptible to crowding are sanitized at regular intervals and common tables have been spread far apart conforming to the norms of ‘social distancing’. The seating arrangements of the employees have been re-planned to ensure physical distance between each employee. These are some of the many measures that we as an organization have taken to ensure a safe environment.
Our Business Continuity Plan and the Disaster Recovery Module are always on standby should there be any emergency. The team is prepared and trained to handle any emergent situation in case we need to vacate or segregate employees for safety measures.
Stepping up Responsibly with a Digital Approach

The new norm has its own offerings - digital skill-based and soft trainings, webinars to exchange insights, and team meeting tools for continuous collaborations. Driving employee engagement activities virtually led us to host our first virtual internal hackathon and several other motivational events.
We believe that our efforts towards contributing as a responsible business have successfully helped us as well as enabled in the smooth functioning of the city that we live in. Understanding the complexities of the current Covid-19 outbreak, we realized the need to reach out to the larger community by extending our capabilities.
In March, Cybage stepped in and deployed a digital pass system for the local Pune Police Department to track, manage, and permit the movement of citizens for essential services. The platform was up and ready within three days of the first lockdown declared in Maharashtra. The digital pass permitted travel within the city and inter-district travel as well. The police personnel could view, track, and manage public movement across the city from a single one-view dashboard.
The pandemic has shown us the way to innovation over agility. We will continue to fight this pandemic through the best of our ability to provide a safe and healthy ecosystem for our valued workforce and maintain the momentum of delivering excellence.
