Cybage named a 'Leader' in IAOP® 2013 Global Outsourcing 100
Cybage, an emerging global leader in the product engineering and IT-services space, has been named among Global Outsourcing Top 100 service providers in the 'Leaders' category, by the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals® (IAOP®). Cybage has received this recognition for the fifth year in a row. The companies were judged on four critical characteristics: size and growth, customer references, organizational competencies, and management capabilities. IAOP acknowledged Cybage’s key strength in the leader’s category was in its management capabilities.
As part of the honors, Cybage has also been recognized as 'Top list climbers year to year'. In addition, Cybage has featured in various sub-categories, namely: 'By industry focus - Best 5 companies – Hospitality', 'By industry focus - Best 10 leaders – Entertainment and Media', 'By industry focus - Best 20 leaders – Retail and Consumer Goods', and ‘By service area - Best 20 leaders R&D services’. This endorses Cybage’s relentless focus on delivering high quality software development and maintenance services to its clients in the industry verticals of Hospitality, Media and Entertainment, Retail, and Product Engineering Services in the UK, US, and European markets.
“We are extremely pleased and honored to be ranked for the fifth consecutive time in the Global Outsourcing 100 rankings by IAOP® and to be featured in various sub-categories. These honors stand testimony to the company’s competence and excellence as a leading global offshore product engineering service provider,” says Amit Gajwani, Senior Vice President, Business Development.
The Global Outsourcing 100 and its sub-lists are essential references for companies seeking new and expanded relationships with the best companies in the industry. The lists include companies from around the world that provide the full spectrum of outsourcing services—not just information technology and business process outsourcing, but also facility services, real estate and capital asset management, manufacturing, and logistics.
The Global Outsourcing 100 for service providers is composed of both today’s known leaders and tomorrow’s rising stars. The judging category of Leader or Rising Star is based on size criteria, which is a combination of yearly revenue and employee numbers set by the judging panel. The groups are judged separately. The final ranked list is composed of the top 75 Leaders and top 25 Rising Stars. The evaluation criteria is weighted to ensure that small to mid-size companies have as much of a chance to be selected as a large, recognized name. Consultants and advisors applying to the World’s Best Outsourcing Advisors list are judged together as a single list.
"As applicants continually raise the bar and as the outsourcing industry continues to grow and mature in many markets, competition is tougher," said Jag Dalal, Chief Advisor Thought Leadership, IAOP and Chairman of the judges' panel. "Being named as a leader in the Global Outsourcing 100 is a great achievement, particularly given the strong competition, and we are proud to recognize Cybage for their excellence."
