CybageAsha makes another generous contribution amounting to 41 lakhs to facilitate world-class health-care and serve the economically challenged sections of the society.

CybageAsha, one of Cybage Software’s philanthropic arms is dedicated towards the collective mission of transforming lives of people in the society through community development and social welfare programs.

Considering the high-volume of patients visiting the Sassoon General Hospital, CybageAsha donated a portable 2D Echo machine for the cardiac department; two C-Arm machines for the urology and orthopaedic departments, and three battery operated vehicles for carrying linens and waste.

These new equipment and vehicles were inaugurated by Mr. Navnath Jagtap, Deputy Charity Commissioner. The occasion was also graced by Dr. Ajay Chandanwale, Dean-B.J. Medical College and Joint Director, Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Dr. Muralidhar Tambe, Vice Dean-B.J. Medical College and Ritu Nathani, Head-Cybage CSR and Director-Cybage.

Accepting the donations, Dr. Muralidhar Tambe, Vice Dean-B.J. Medical College thanked CybageAsha and said, “We at Sassoon General Hospital would like to express our deepest gratitude for Cybage’s donation. This contribution increases our capacity to provide care and enables us to serve our patients better.”

While appreciating the long-standing association with the hospital, Ritu Nathani, Head – Cybage CSR and Director – Cybage said, “Sassoon General Hospital is one of the largest medical establishments in the district and caters to numerous patients hailing from Pune and nearby regions. Collaborating with the hospital brings a great sense of accomplishment as it gives us a chance to provide healthcare support to the society. It builds on our belief that healthcare should be accessible for all.”

CybageAsha’s other healthcare initiatives include regular blood donation drives, eye-check-up camps, cataract surgeries, dental check-ups and a mobile dispensary van.
