CybageKhushboo announces Annual Scholarship Program 2019-20 in Gandhinagar
Aims to provide financial aid to economically challenged meritorious students
The trust has granted more than 1200 scholarships worth 10 Crores till date
CybageKhushboo, a self–sustained NGO and philanthropic arm of Cybage Software Pvt. Ltd., announces its Annual Scholarship Program for the academic year 2019-20. Through the program, the organization aims to provide meritorious students from economically challenged backgrounds a chance to pursue higher education. It will help the beneficiaries attain a promising and secure future. In addition to this, CybageKhushboo also renews scholarships of existing beneficiaries year on year.
This year, CybageKhushboo will grant 485 scholarships to deserving students, collectively amounting to ₹2.80 crores. This includes 150 new students for the academic year 2019-20, and 335 renewed scholarships for beneficiaries from the previous years, through school and college partnerships. The scholarships, as part of the program, are granted to students from various vocational fields such as Engineering, Medicine and related fields, Architecture, Physiotherapy, Pharmacy, Nursing, Homeopathy, BCA, BCS, BSc, BBA, MCA, MSc, and Hotel Management.
The applicants must fulfill the following criteria to avail the CybageKhushboo Scholarship:
• Minimum score of 60% in Class X and Class XII exams in the valid academic year.
• The total family income of the applicant should not exceed ₹ 3 lakh per annum.
• The applicant must have secured admission in a government or a private college on the basis of merit and not through capitation or donation.
• It is mandatory for all the applicants to apply online through our website www.cybagekhushboo.org.
Speaking about the initiative, Ritu Nathani, Director–Cybage and Head–Cybage CSR, says, “At CybageKhushboo, we believe that bright and motivated students should not be deprived of learning opportunities due to socio-economic challenges. Ever since its inception in 2009, CybageKhushboo has relentlessly worked towards providing financial aid to economically challenged students across India. So far, it has awarded scholarships to more than 1,200 students, and this number continues to grow each year. After completing their studies, several of these students have secured placements at leading companies such as TCS, Bank of America, Tata, Accenture, Infosys, Asian Paints, Reliance Jio, HSBC, and Crompton Greaves.
