Colin Barlow is a member of the Cybage Advisory Board and brings extensive leadership and operational experience across the advertising, technology, and media industries.
Known for his time at GroupM as the Global CFO, Global COO, and then President of Internal Services, Colin supported the company through 16 out of 18 years of revenue growth and increased profitability, where GroupM delivered the significant majority of the parent company, WPP’s Growth.
He led the creation of the first cross-group support teams (Finance, IT) and then, in his last years, led the creation of a common media agency delivery team, making up over 10,000 people across 50 counties.
As part of this, he also led the organizational design and development of the captive shared media delivery services capabilities in India and Colombia, supported by Cybage, with a combined strength of over 2,000 professionals.
Prior to this, he was the CEO of Razorfish in the UK and had various senior CFO roles in advertising, following his career in Arthur Andersen and his Electronic Engineering degree.
Most recently, he has been appointed as the global COO for Omnicom PR, where he is rapidly learning the breadth of capabilities that modern PR companies deliver for advertisers and governments.
His philosophy of continual learning and curiosity spans his professional and personal life. In his spare time, this manifests in woodworking, metalworking, and CNC 3D design, focusing on both the functional and art.
