About The Position
Seeking an Analytics Engineer to develop, optimize, and govern reporting and planning solutions within SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), supporting enterprise dashboard initiatives, planning models, and governed self-service analytics.
Technical and Professional Requirements
Mandatory
- Hands-on experience developing in SAP Analytics Cloud (Stories, Models, Planning, or Applications).
- Strong understanding of data modelling concepts and semantic layer principles, with working knowledge of SQL and relational data concepts.
- Experience implementing role-based access and governance within analytics platforms.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable analytic solutions with strong cross-team collaboration skills.
Preferred
- Experience integrating SAC with SAP Datasphere or other SAP data sources.
- Prior experience in Lumira, BOBJ, BW reporting, or any other reporting/dashboarding tool.
- Exposure to enterprise planning or financial performance management workflows.
- Familiarity with Tableau or Power BI environments and experience working in modernization or platform transition initiatives.
Job Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain dashboards, stories, and analytic applications within SAP Analytics Cloud.
- Develop SAC data models aligning to certified enterprise datasets and semantic standards.
- Support planning and performance management use cases and implement role-based access controls.
- Collaborate with SAP BDC/Datasphere and Data Engineering teams for reliable data connectivity.
- Optimize SAC performance, data refresh strategies, model efficiency, and support transport/lifecycle management processes.
- Contribute to documentation, standards, best practices, troubleshooting production issues, and platform support.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Electronics, or any engineering discipline.
