The company offers discounted coverage for corporates to cover the costs of fertility treatments and pregnancy care.

Business Needs | Platform-Independent App for Efficient Onboarding and Policyholder Education

The client sought to provide users with a seamless onboarding experience through a platform-independent app that could be accessed on iOS, Android, and the web. The focus was to create a robust, highly scalable solution that catered to a diverse user base.

The key requirement was the application’s full scalability and compliance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), ensuring it was inclusive, regardless of ability or platform.

The platform was intended to be a comprehensive resource offering information on both pre-pregnancy and post-pregnancy concerns, while also providing actionable solutions to common challenges.

To further enhance patient experience, the client requested a robust scheduling system to streamline bookings and appointment management across affiliated treatment centers and healthcare providers.

Solutions | Built a Platform-independent Application for Appointment Management

We developed a platform-independent application utilizing Flutter. The app improved the clinical and onboarding modules through advanced APIs built with Python and hosted on Heroku, enabling seamless connectivity with Salesforce.

Our team created mobile and web applications that:

  • Facilitated user onboarding and provided access to benefit information and detailed coverage explanations
  • Offered a range of curated resources and tools for fertility and family building, pregnancy and postpartum care, menopause, and midlife care
  • Enabled secure communication with the Client Care Team via messaging or phone
  • Kept patients informed by viewing authorizations, tracking medication deliveries, and accessing additional relevant information.
  • Implemented automated deployment using CI/CD pipelines to optimize the release process, which significantly enhanced time-to-market efficiency.

The Flutter-based mobile application offered easy, on-demand access to essential documents and processes, making the experience smoother and more engaging.

We helped reduce the operational workload on Patient Care Advisors (PCAs), enabling them to focus on higher-value tasks by providing easy self-service options in the app.

Our team was successful in minimizing downtime with the platform-independent app that was easy to maintain and upgrade.

The app also enabled direct appointment scheduling with service providers, eliminating intermediaries, accelerating booking times, and optimizing resource allocation.
