- Modernize legacy interoperability standards by migrating to a FHIR-based framework aligned with the ADHA National Healthcare Interoperability Plan 2023-2028.
- Enable secure, real-time exchange of clinical and claims data between the clinical management system and a centralized FHIR server.
- Ensure data exchange aligns with AU Core and broader Australian national health interoperability requirements.
- Establish real-time monitoring and drill-down analytics for FHIR resource processing at the individual record level.
Cybage modernized the client's interoperability ecosystem with a secure, cloud-native FHIR integration platform and real-time operational insights by implementing the following:
- Extended AU Core FHIR profiles to support system-specific IG using custom data models and terminology.
- Built an event-driven middleware service for bidirectional FHIR data exchange.
- Transformed source database records into FHIR resources and converted FHIR components back into the source database format.
- Deployed a scalable integration layer with a central FHIR server and secure authentication.
