Our client is a globally renowned digital advertising and marketing giant who specializes in offering advanced performance marketing, affiliate solutions, programmatic display, and media buying services.

With its focus on connecting publishers, advertisers, and consumers, the client serves global and regional premier brands belonging to retail, finance, travel, and telecom domains.

Opportunity | Upgrade the Outdated Legacy System

The client was operating on its legacy system, where it was facing several operational and compliance issues with the existing inefficient processes.

These issues were impairing the productivity, cost optimization, and customer experience.

The outdated legacy system made it impossible to reduce the high maintenance and operational costs and integrate tools to promote new functionalities.

The client aimed to provide its users with a consistent and personalized experience to gain a competitive edge.

Migrating from legacy systems to new multi-cloud-native systems can be extremely complex and error-prone, especially when it comes to dealing with large volumes of data.

We migrated the client’s legacy system to a  multi-cloud-native environment by utilizing GCP, Microsoft Azure, and AWS. We also utilized tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and other cloud-native constructs.

Solutions | Modernized the Application by Adopting a Scalable, Multi-cloud-native Model

While we understand the importance of migrating to the multi-cloud-native environment, we also prioritized our client’s business continuity.

To ensure business continuity, we planned the system downtime only during off-peak hours and maintained clear and precise communication with the client to minimize the disruptions using Load Balancer and Cloud CDN.

We implemented an agile approach, planned regular sprints, and set and followed milestones. All this ensured the migration and modernization stayed on track and met the timeline without any delays. We automated CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab and monitored system health and sprint performance with Prometheus and Grafana.

Our expert team ensured smooth integration of new systems with the legacy system, third-party software, and cloud applications to secure complete compatibility.

We took care of data security and privacy compliance by implementing stringent and robust security measures. This included compliance with regulations like GDPR, CCPA, COPPA, PCI DSS, and SEC and leveraging built-in security frameworks from GCP, Azure, and AWS to enforce encryption, access control, and audit trails.

We closely monitored the budget during the entire operation and prevented overruns due to unexpected expenses or delays. The cost and performance optimization was embedded into the solution by design and not as an afterthought. Auto-scaling infrastructure on Kubernetes, along with usage monitoring via Grafana, helped optimize cloud resources and control costs effectively.

Before making the final transition to the cloud-native system, our team ran both the legacy and the new systems in parallel (hybrid setup) to ensure seamless workflows and verify performance using real-world scenarios.
