The client is a renowned chain of resorts and indoor water parks with locations throughout the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. They are well-known for their family-friendly resorts with unique amenities and experiences.

Business Needs | Testing and Configuration Issues with PODs Approach

The client observed key issues within their testing and migration processes:

The client team conducted multiple property migrations using the PODs approach for both PMS and CRS.
They experienced sub-optimal test execution times due to parallel functional and configuration testing on the PODs.
Additionally, they encountered various random issues during configuration validation. There was a lack of QA automation for the functional flows of Opera Cloud PMS.

Solutions | Comprehensive System Testing and Validation for Successful PODs Migration

To address the client's challenges, the Cybage team conducted configuration validation testing for the PODs migration, ensuring smooth functionality in both UAT and PROD environments. We performed comprehensive system testing on the Opera Cloud PMS in UAT and on the APS CRS in both QA and UAT to identify potential issues.

System testing of the APS CRS was conducted in both the QA and UAT environments to ensure optimal performance.

QA automation was executed for key business scenarios in UAT, and integration testing with Opera v5 PMS, ORS, Opera Cloud PMS, and APS provided insights into system interoperability.

We also carried out automated API testing for end-to-end reservation scenarios involving client website, Opera v5, APS, and Opera Cloud, ensuring a robust system ready for deployment.
