The company does this by successfully collecting feedback through paid market research studies, surveys, focus groups, and product testing.

The client is one of the most trusted global market research firms in operation for over 30 years and enjoys immense trust of its clients and 1M+ members.

Opportunity | Launch Mobile App to Boost Participant Engagement

The client aimed to modernize its digital platform to enhance participant engagement and streamline operations across web and mobile mediums.

This involved creating a seamless experience for users across devices by expanding the current web portal features, such as study participation, gamification, rewards and push notifications, to its mobile application as well. 

The client required seamless support across mobile devices to ensure the participants could connect anytime from anywhere.

Furthermore, the client wanted to establish new and effective communication channels, such as push notifications, to keep the users informed.

They also aimed to implement gamification techniques such as dynamic rewards across mediums, badges, achievements and leadership boards to drive participant engagement.

From the technical perspective, this modernization effort required a scalable backend architecture using ASP.NET Core to support mobile applications and integrate the features in a new web portal.

The technical requirement also involved understanding the current code and implementing it in the new system while ensuring minimal impact on the existing platform to maintain uptime.

The client wanted the solution to be scalable and capable of managing the fluctuations in traffic, especially during peak hours.

Solutions | Built a Cross-Platform Mobile App with Scalable, Serverless Architecture

We developed a cross-platform mobile application using Flutter that extended the client’s digital presence beyond the web portal.

We developed and implemented backend APIs for the mobile application, designed to seamlessly scale and support both the current mobile app and the future planned web portal.

To ensure cost effectiveness, we hosted the backend on AWS Lambda.

Leveraging a serverless application enabled automatic scaling for the client and minimized the infrastructure overhead.

Using ASP.NET Core, we developed a robust backend that provided a modern and scalable foundation, ensuring future growth.

Throughout the implementation, we ensured minimal disruption to the business and carefully aligned the new system with the current codebase.

This increased the user reach, that was earlier limited to web portals, to mobile application.

We enabled push notification capabilities to deliver timely and relevant updates, keeping users informed and engaged.

To drive user participation, we integrated gamification features including dynamic rewards, badges, achievements, and leaderboards.
